REMINDERS FOR ALL TOURS
- All tours depart from the UWPIAA Bus Stop, in front of the University Concert Hall Foundation Building.
- Please be on time. This is a true UWP day on the bus, and the bus WILL DEPART on schedule.
- You must have your name badge and wristband to board the bus.
- Should you arrive AFTER check-in closes the night before you have a tour scheduled, please report to the bus 20 minutes BEFORE the arrival time listed. A team member will meet you there with your credentials and give you a quick orientation to the event.
- Please watch for the sign in the front of the bus to identify each tour. Get to know your tour leader and have a great day!
- Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring layers, sunscreen, and be prepared for changes in the weather.
- Bring your reusable water bottle.
- If staying off campus, you must make your own arrangements for an early breakfast or one to go.
- If staying on campus, breakfast is served from 7:00 to 9:30 each morning during the main dates of the event, EXCEPT on Wednesday, 23 July, it will be served from 6:00 to 9:30.
- All tours are scheduled to return by 18:00. The Legacy Team will work with any parents of youth needing hours before/after the usually scheduled time.
- Should something happen such as illness or injury, and you must send someone in your place, this has to be communicated at least 24 hours in advance to our team. Email aawtours@uwpiaa.org with your name, the person going in your place, and the tour you are transferring.
- It is customary but not required to tip the driver. Your Irish alum tour guide will pass an envelope for an optional contribution.
- Please help one another out, and check the seats as you leave the bus at the end of the day for trash and forgotten items. In UWP fashion, we want to be sure we leave things better than we found them, and please note, there is no lost and found on site.
- Many evenings there will be a quick turnaround for the evening activities. Please be aware of this and have a plan in place.
