Legacy in Action: A Global Youth Leadership Program
Empowering Young Leaders through the Arts, Activism, and Action
General Overview
"Legacy in Action" is an immersive, one-week program designed for young leaders (ages 18-20) who are passionate about social justice, global citizenship, and creating positive change.
Inspired by the transformative energy of Up with People and the strategic framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this program blends performing arts, leadership development, and hands-on community action to empower participants to become catalysts for change.
Through interactive workshops, cultural exchanges, and a culminating performance, participants will explore pressing global challenges and develop creative, action-oriented solutions to drive progress in their communities.
Included: Lunch and snacks Mon-Sat, Monday Reception, Tuesday Dinner, and Saturday Supper. (Breakfast is included at all three accommodation partners as well.)

Sample Schedule
"Legacy in Action" will be an explosive, one-week program occurring during the Annual Alumni Week, designed for young adults (ages 18-20) and inspired by the transformative energy of Up with People. During this week, participants will blend performing arts, leadership development, volunteerism and a whole lot of wacky, whimsical, kooky, and crazy fun. All of this while we explore the beautiful culture and rich history of Ireland. In one unforgettable week, through their actions, participants will become part of the Up with People legacy.
