I agree to provide my emergency contact information, which will only be used by the Annual Alumni Week leadership team in case of accident or injury. I understand that I may modify or retract the emergency contact information at any time. I further understand that this emergency contact information will be deleted after Annual Alumni Week 2026 has concluded.

I agree to have my name appear in the “Who's Registered?” list. This is publicly visible on the UWPIAA website (first & last name, primary and secondary cast/crew/staff years and country).

I give permission for the UWPIAA to update the information on file in the database to match my registration data.

I give permission for the UWPIAA to update my name, address, email and phone number data with the UWP Foundation.

I have read the terms and conditions and agree to the terms outlined in the waiver, below.

Up with People International Alumni Association (UWPIAA) Annual Alumni Week (AAW) 2026 Assumption of Risk and Waiver Agreement in consideration of participation in the activities and events organized by the UWPIAA for AAW 2026.

 I acknowledge and agree to the following:

 1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that participation in any / all activities of AAW 2026 involves certain inherent risks and dangers, including, but not limited to, the risk of physical injury, illness, disability, property damage, and even death. I acknowledge that these risks and dangers cannot be eliminated entirely, even when all reasonable precautions are taken by the UWPIAA.

 2. Voluntary Participation: I voluntarily choose to participate in the activity / event and accept full responsibility for all risks associated with my participation.

 3. Release of Liability: I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the UWPIAA, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether in law or equity, arising out of or in connection with my participation in the activity / event, including but not limited to claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.

 4. Waiver of Legal Rights: I waive any right I may have to bring legal action or assert a claim against the UWPIAA for any losses, damages, injuries, or expenses incurred because of my participation in the activity / event. 
I have read and accept the details of any optional activity I registered for and am aware that all persons participating in the tours and activities do so at the participant’s own sole risk. UWPIAA organisers of the tour are released from any claims, actions, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses by participants in the tour and all persons accept full responsibility for their own selves during the tour.

5. Insurance: I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to have adequate personal health, travel, and accident insurance coverage while participating in the activity / event, and I assume all costs associated with any injury or medical treatment I may require.

 6. Compliance with Rules and Instructions: I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the UWPIAA and its representatives during the activity / event.

 7. Binding Agreement: This Assumption of Risk and Waiver Agreement is binding upon me, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, and assigns.

By clicking to accept this Agreement, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand its contents, that I am of legal age, and that I voluntarily agree to its terms.

For any youth under 18 years of age that I have registered for any programme or event, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand its contents, that I am of legal age, and that I voluntarily agree to its terms on their behalf.

I, the registrant, understand that the Privacy Policy and how the UWPIAA uses personal information may be viewed at uwpiaa.org/privacy-policy.

The UWPIAA and its processor idloom process personal data in compliance with European GDPR and other national/regional privacy legislation. The information  provided by the registrant is necessary to organize the event they will be attending, to generate invoices, to confirm the registration by e-mail, to create their badge and to allow them to modify their registration. This data may also be processed by the UWPIAA upon its legitimate interest: to promote its activities by informing the registrant about them, to show offers from partners and sponsors regarding this event, to obtain analytics about this event. The registrant is entitled to object to these processing operations.

idloom shall only process personal data in the European Union, or in third countries after having secured appropriate guaranties with the subcontractor or recipient. They are transferred to the country of the UWPIAA. The UWPIAA will keep registrant data after the event until the expiry of the legal retention obligations, in particular fiscal and accounting and until the end of the responsibility.

Registrants can obtain from the UWPIAA (data protection officer available at idev@uwpiaa.org) the written communication of data, as well as, where appropriate, portability of the data, rectification, restriction of processing, deletion of data which is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant. For further information or to lodge a complaint the registrant may also contact the supervisory authority of the country of their habitual residence.

The registrant hereby consents to the processing of health-related data, necessary to organize catering or accessibility.

I understand that grant funding for the event is based on the grantor verifying a randomly selected group of attendees after the event. My name and email address and the name and email on record for any child I register (I will enter my email for a minor)  will be shared with the grantor for this express purpose. Grantor will not retain any information after the random verification has been conducted.
